Comedian & Registered Nurse Taquita Love to Appear on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen (Episode 100)

There are moments in your career that remind you you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be—and this is one of them.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be appearing on the nationally syndicated comedy series Comics Unleashed with Byron Allenas part of Episode 100. Being part of such a milestone episode makes this opportunity even more meaningful.

As a Los Angeles-based comedian and registered nurse—and a Chicago native—my journey into comedy has always been rooted in real-life experiences. Working in healthcare has given me a unique perspective on people, resilience, and the importance of laughter. That perspective is something I bring with me every time I step on stage.

My work, including my comedy talk show Comedy Is the Cure™, is centered around blending humor with real-life healthcare experiences. I’ve always believed that laughter is a powerful form of healing, and being able to share that on a platform like Comics Unleashed is something I don’t take lightly.

Comics Unleashed, hosted by Byron Allen, features comedians in a conversational format that highlights storytelling, quick wit, and personality. It’s an honor to be part of a show that has introduced so many comedians to a national audience.

In addition to this appearance, I continue to perform regularly at The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach and work on expanding Comedy Is the Cure™, where I bring together comedy, storytelling, and healthcare in a way that connects with audiences on a deeper level.

This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s next.
